Slots Temptation
I will admit it right up front; I love playing slot machines. I always play the penny machines and play cheap. Money is too hard to come by to waste it. My husband also loves to play the slots and he too plays the penny machines.
We were introduced to slots about five years ago when my husband won a trip to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida through his job. The trip included our air fare, hotel, transportation to the hotel, and part of our meals. His company had a drawing while we were down there and he won $700.00 in spending money. That money paid for the rest of our meals and we had money left over to play the slots. We came home with $500.00 so you can see we play carefully.
If you have ever been to that casino then you know how luxurious it is. They have several restaurants and shopping. They have free live entertainment in the lobby day and night. That trip spoiled us forever.
We can not afford to go to that casino on our own so each year for vacation we try to go to Biloxi, Mississippi. They have at least ten casinos and there are plans for building more in the future. The first time we went down there we got players club cards. Because of the cards we get discounts on our hotels. Our trips down there cost us less than what we paid for the family vacations we used to take when our kids were little.
We have also tried Tunica, Mississippi and Cherokee, North Carolina but it is too hard to win in those casinos. Plus Biloxi is on the ocean. A few weeks ago we were informed that Panama City Beach is hoping to get a casino. If they do and our income improves then we will check it out.
