Missing Hairstylist

Published by tglisman at 11:23 am under just another day Edit This

My hair stylist is missing.  She is not answering her phone at work, at home, or her answering her emails.  She is the only person who has ever cut my hair just right.  She listens to how I want my hair and then cuts it my way.  She is the one who puts in my highlights too.  I now have two inches of dark roots and she has gone MIA.  No one has seen her in at least eight months now.  She was working in a nursing home and also at the salon.  She has quit her job at the nursing home and stopped coming into the salon.  I broke down in September and had a new stylist cut my hair.  That was the wrong thing to do.  I told her to cut layers and make them piecey.  She cut a wedge on each side.  That look went out in the early nineties. She also cut two inches more on the length than she was supposed to.  She asked if I wanted her to foil my hair and I wisely said no.  She charges more than twice what my regular stylist charges.  I put highlights in myself a few months ago but they do not stay like the ones I get in a salon.  With all the Christmas parties coming up I want to look my best.  Dark roots saying hi to the world is not a good look for me.  I am going to have to highlight my hair again or take a chance on another stranger if my stylist does not come back from the mystery zone she is hiding in.  Or I could just buy a wig.
