Unknown Female Super Heroes
Two women have single handily stopped the drought in middle Georgia and no one knows. Their story is an untold secret and the world does not know of their super powers as of yet. I am going to spill the beans and tell the whole world how these two mild mannered women have saved the south from drying up and becoming the next Sahara. But first some back ground on the drought conditions in the south.
We have been in drought conditions for about six years with some wet months which did not help the conditions because of extremely dry months that followed. During the spring and summer of 2008 we were about eight to ten inches below normal rainfall. During the month of May alone we usually receive five to six inches of rain in a normal year but during the month of May of 2008 we received less than an inch. We were suffering from the drought until we were saved by these two wonder women.
I need a drum roll here for I am going to unveil their secret identities. The two women are my youngest daughter and her mother-in-law. How did they stop the drought? Well… when their dryer caught on fire they decided to wait on buying a new one. They made the brilliant decision to hang the laundry out on a clothesline. Once they hung the laundry out we began to get three and four days of rain in a row. This went on for months until last week when they purchased a new dryer. Now that they have the dryer our weather forecast for the next ten days is sunny with no rain in sight! Ladies please know how grateful we are to your help but if we go back into the drought will you sacrifice your dryer?

TRY NOT WASHING YOUR VEHICLE, FOR A FEW WEEKS AND THEN, WASH IT AND WATCH THE RAIN COME. NEVER FAILS !!!!
LoL talk about magical thinking!
I do like the “spin” on this though
You know… isn’t that how it always works out!!! Bravo to these “superwomen!”
I have a friend that has the opposite effect on nature. My friend NEVER cleans (she has it done for her) and one day, she felt the need to “super” clean the house…We are talking about using the toothbrush on every inch of the house. She scrubbed and scrubbed. That night, there was a house fire. Everyone was fine but the loss was total. We asked her to NEVER clean again!!
A few years later, she decided to clean out the freezer. Again, we are talking about a complete cleaning!!! In the midst of cleaning..the power went out….IT WENT OUT ON THE ENTIRE EASTERN SEABOARD!! We had a black out(along with most of the country) and I know it was her fault!!! Again, DEBBIE STOP CLEANING!!! YOUR GONNA KILL US! LOL
As much as my back hurts at this moment from moving the dryer, I would give it up. This summer I will be hanging my clothes out on the line because they will dry faster than in the “new” dryer. It was used and cheap so I can’t complain too much. You sure you don’t want snow mom? It is only 18 degrees tonight. lol
